Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) with
Dreamweaver

Using SFTP with Dreamweaver
Great! Glad you've decided to secure your communications with the server. This is really easy.

1) Open the site Manager in Dreamweaver (Site --> Manage Sites)
2) Create your account in there like you would normally do.
3) Select the "Advanced" Tab
4) Select "Remote Info" from the menu on the left
5) Choose FTP as the access method
6) enter your domain name followed by :722 in the FTP Host box (see image)
7) enter /home/username/public_html as the host directory (this might be home2 in you're on the second home drive) be sure to replace username with the one found in your welcome email.
8) Enter your cPanel username and password in the corresponding boxes.
9) Most important! Select the "Use Secure FTP (SFTP)" option
9) If you're really nifty you'll select the "Automatically upload files to server on save"!
